LEGO THE INCREDIBLES
(PS4/X1/NSW) OUT NOW
While this latest Lego entry is more aimed at a younger audience - with one eye on involving the entire family - it is another notable entry in the franchise by offering a fun-filled Incredibles adventure.
It may not evolve the formula in any ingenious way, but by encouraging puzzling teamwork as you the star as members of the Parr family and pals, there’s plenty of action-packed story levels and side missions that come to life in this exciting free-play Lego hub.
While it isn’t quite as Incredible as the first two movies - there’s plenty of Elastigirl-icity here for multiple superhero-fuelled hours for the family.

JURASSIC WORLD: EVOLUTION
(X1/PS4) OUT NOW
There’s not been a decent Jurassic Park-based game since back in 16-bit days - and even though this has its limitations there’s a faithful dinosaur playground underneath.
Obviously based more on the latest Jurassic World movies, this takes you to the heart of the franchise by letting you take charge of operations across five main islands to bring your dinosaurs (from Triceratops to T-Rex) to life - whether via science, security or entertainment.
It won’t compete with the genre greats with some glaring lack of rigorous content, but for fans of the series there’s plenty of bite to this sim that shows plenty of potential for future entries.
