Dance to the beat with new music workshops in Quadring
African drumming, singing, dance and more is on offer at a new Saturday morning kids’ music workshop, writes Patrick Walsh.
It’s held at St Margaret’s Hall in Quadring and is open to ages 5-12. Led by Liz Lenten’s Scarlet Community Music Club, the cost is just £1 per session, and offers a great chance to get involved and have fun.
The sessions will give young and budding musicians an opportunity to develop their skills and, with no experience needed, try something new.
For older musicians, ages 13-18, music leader training is available.
The sessions start at 10.30am and run until midday, from Saturday, September 29.
