Here is our round up for some of the events taking place this weekend and beyond in our district...

Spalding events;

*The Lincolnshire Makers Market will be back for another event at Sessions House in Spalding.

It will be taking place on Saturday, July 1 between 10am and 4pm.

Visitors can enjoy the range of craft stalls including baked goods, homeware, decor, floral creations, gin, and so much more.

*Head over to this cake sale for a cup of tea and a chatter. The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, July 8 from 11am at 107 Woolram Wygate.

The event will be in aid of Macmillan, St Barnabus and Marie Curie. Tea and cake will cost £1.50 along with other cakes ranging from £1 to £5.

*A charity night is set to take place on Saturday, June 24 at Spalding Services and Social Club.

The event is raising money for guide dogs and Nicholas Hospice. Enjoy the Irish by singer Brendan Obrian who has toured across Europe.

There will also be music by DJ Kat who will be playing vinyl 70s and 80s music to put you in the best mood.

Tickets are available at the bar for £8 or £10 on the night.

*The Clay Hall Hotel are having schools out garden party on Saturday, July 22 from 1pm to 5pm.

The summer event will be free to enter and offers a variety of games, live music, food, face painting and much more.

District events;

*There will be a fun dog show taking place at Birchgrove Garden Centre on Sunday, June 25.

The event is in aid of DogsTrust from 10am to 4pm.

It will include a variety of classes which cost £1.50 pay as you enter the ring, classes start at 11am.

There will be refreshments, bbq, childrens games, raffle, lots of stalls and more.

A donation of £1 is required on the gate upon entry, children can attend for free.

*Make sure to get dressed up for this Royal Ascot Race Night in Pinchbeck.

The event will take place at West Pinchbeck Village Hall on Saturday, June 24 with doors opening at 6.30pm and the first race starting at 7pm.

Tickets are £5 and include table nibbles but make sure to bring your own drinks.

*Don’t miss out on the Young Dons Family Fun Day which is taking place on Saturday, June 24.

Make sure to take the whole family down to this event as there will be something for everyone.

Enjoy the various stalls, bouncy castle, face painter, raffle, tombola, bar and so much more.

It will be taking place from 10am to 5pm at Donington Community Centre and everyone is welcome to join in with the fun.

*Head over to Pinchbeck Church Hall for the ‘hot ginger and dynamit’ event due to take place on Friday, July 7.

Don’t miss the jazz musicians recreating the sound of New York with a lively performance at 7.30pm.

*Gosberton Youth Centre will be having an indoor car boot sale on Sunday, June 25 from 10am to 2pm.

To book a table it will cost £6 and all of the proceeds made from the event will go towards Gosberton Youth Centre. Email gosbertonyouthcentre@gmail.com or call 07393 936099 to book your place.

*Gear up for this car and bike show that is taking place at Holbeach Primary Academy.

The event is set to take place on Sunday, July 23 from 10am to 3pm.

Enjoy the music, food, drinks, trade stands and more.

*All Saints Church in Moulton offer a TLC group on the second Monday of each month.

The talking, listening and company group is for people who have been affected by bereavement or illness, feeling lonely or for people who just want to have a cup of tea and a chat.

It takes place between 2pm and 4pm and everyone is welcome.

*If you are interested in getting involved in chess, this social chess club is the perfect place for you.

The club will be held at Farmers Room, Curlew Centre in Sutton Bridge and will start from Tuesday, June 27.

It will take place from 6pm to 8pm. Beginners are welcome and it is free to attend.

The group encourages socialisation and a way to expand your mind and learn something new.

*St Laurence’s Church in Surfleet will be running a Surfleet Card Club every other Monday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm.

The club offers games such as Dominoes, UNO, Gin Rummy and more which are all played in The Fraiser Room at the Church.

It costs £3 per person to attend which includes tea or coffee and biscuits.
