There are lots of different upcoming events happening in our area, see below for more details...

Spalding events:

* Sessions House in Spalding is preparing for its Sessions event on Saturday, March 4.

The event will run from 6pm to 12am.

Enjoy the DJ line-up, which includes; Dan Rowe, Henry Young, Samm, Rich Dee, Binzy and Efan Feekar.

* The Sound Injectors will be performing at The Red Lion Hotel on Sunday, February 26 at 3pm.

* The Tulip Queen presents a Disney Quiz Night on Sunday, February 26.

It will be taking place from 8pm and costs £1 per player, with a maximum of six people per team.

* Spalding Services Club will host a Crazy Bingo Party on Saturday, March 11.

The night will include bingo with the ‘best worst prizes’, musical

bingo and dancing along to the music from the DJ.

Doors will open at 7pm with eyes down at 8pm.

The bingo will last until 11pm, and the dance floor is open until 12am.

* Tonic Health in Spalding have a wide variety of social groups lined up throughout the week.

Coffee Connections runs every Monday and Friday from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

The group is a great way to get social and connect with other attendees.

Craft and Chat runs from 12.30pm to 2pm and includes a safe space to enjoy getting creative and meeting new people.

Night Light Café runs on Mondays and Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm.

Visitors who struggle with anxiety, depression, loneliness and isolation can enjoy some evening company.

On Tuesdays the Safe Places Meeting Group meets from 4pm to 5.30pm.

The group offers an opportunity to socialise in a safe space and build new friendships.

Men’s Group takes place on Thursdays from 11am to 1pm.

This is a peer supported group that offers men of any age the chance to talk over coffee, a range of traditional games are also available to play.

All of the groups listed above are free to attend and refreshments

provided at no extra charge.

District events

* Pinchbeck Village Hall are hosting a bookstall every Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm.

Sales are by donation only.

* There will be a charity evening in aid of LIVES on Saturday, February 25.

It will take place at Pinchbeck Village Hall and doors open from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £7 and all proceeds made will go towards LIVES charity.

The evening will also have a licenced bar and raffle for attendees to enjoy.

* Join an evening with Nicholas Watts at Vine House Farm Shop and Café on Wednesday, March 15.

Nicholas will narrate his ‘Farming and Wildlife’ presentation with the opportunity for questions and answers to follow.

It will take place from 6pm to 8.30pm.

Tickets for the event are £12 including a glass of wine or elderflower cordial, with canapes.

* There will be a Karaoke Night with Jilly’s No Limit Disco at The Elizabethan Social Club, Whaplode Drove on Saturday 25th February.

Doors open at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome.

* St Mary’s Church Hall in Pinchbeck will host a quiz night on Friday, March 24 from 7pm.

Tickets are £7.50 which also includes supper.

Attendees should bring their own drinks, glasses and cutlery.

All profits made will be going towards the Church funds.

* A beginner’s art group will be taking place at Church Hall Market Place, Swineshead every Wednesday during term times.

It will run from 1pm to 3pm and costs £2.50 per session.

The sessions range in different medians such as chalk, watercolour, sketching, acrylics and many more.

Enjoy guest artists who will provide advice and chatting to other budding artists.

Attendees should bring their own supplies.

* Another event organised by Spalding Arts and Crafts Society will be their watercolour demonstration by local artist Phil Biggs.

This event will be taking place on Tuesday, March 7 with doors opening from 7pm.

Phil Briggs will begin the demonstration from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Pinchbeck Village Hall.

Members can attend for £3 and visitors it will cost £5.

* A popular quiz night will be back on Saturday, March 18 at West Pinchbeck Village Hall.

The event will be St Patrick’s Day themed and will begin at 7.30pm.

It will cost £5 per person and no more than eight people per team.

Prize’s will be available for the winning team.

Attendees are advised to bring their own drinks and glasses.

* Lake Ross Caravan Park in West Pinchbeck will be hosting a Kylie, Madonna and Blondie Tribute on Saturday, February 25.

It will begin at 8.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 which you can get on site or by calling 01775 761690.

Children can attend for free.

* A dragonfly event will take place at Holbeach Community Centre on Saturday, March 18.

The event will include mind, body and soul holistic crafts.

It will take place from 10am to 4pm.

Enjoy lots of different stalls including giftware, card readings,

crystals, holistic treatments and more.

* Quadring Women’s Institute 2023 programme will be taking place on the second Wednesday of each month.

On Wednesday, March 8, there will be a flower workshop with Sally Spridgen and an upcycled item competition.

It starts at 7.15pm at St Margaret’s Hall in Quadring.

Each month there are inspiring speakers, demonstration, raffle,

competition and refreshments.

* There will be a craft fair at the Anglia Motel in Fleet on Sunday, March 12.

It will be running from 10am to 2pm. All proceeds will go towards Ovarian Cancer Charity.
