Your chance to 'meet the artists' and have a go at painting with Spalding Arts and Crafts Society

Spalding Arts and Crafts Society is hosting a 'Meet the Artists' event at Ayscoughfee Hall on Saturday, May 11.

Several of the team will be painting on the day and there is the opportunity to 'have-a-go' yourself. The event will run from 11am-3pm.

It's part of the group's latest exhibition in the Geest Gallery from May 2-30, which is open from 10.30am until 4pm, Wednesdays until Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

The 'Meet the Artists' day runs at the same time as 'Happy Healthy Minds', an event organised by the Communities team at South Holland District Council, to promote positive mental health.

Happy Healthy Minds runs from the Saturday until Wednesday, May 15, from 11am until 4pm.

A range of free activities will be offer, including arts and crafts, relaxing exercise, mindfulness, guided walks and much more. All are welcome.
