Murders, twists and bloody revenge! Line-up revealed for Boston Crime Book Festival
Expect murders, twists and bloody revenge to take place in a grand 18th century house this summer.
This year’s Boston Crime Book Festival line-up offers some thrilling entertainment.
Set in the picturesque Fydell House, the two-day festival will celebrate the genre with a number of talks, discussions and signings.
On Saturday, June 8, David Whittle will begin proceedings with Crime and Carry Ons (10am-11am).
David will be giving a talk on the life and works of Edmund Crispin and The Golden Age of Crime.
From 11.30am-12.30pm cosy crime author Helen Golden will read extracts and sign books.
Authors Nell Pattison, Claire Ladds and Kate High will be in conversation from 1.30pm-2.30pm, and will also be on hand to sign books.
Day one will conclude with author TM Logan giving a talk on psychological thrillers, plus a book signing.
The second day (Sunday, June 9) will begin with Barbara Copperthwaite and Philippa East discussing Bad Women and Toxic Friendships (9.30am-10.30am).
Jack Cartwright will take part in a Q&A session and book signing from 11am to noon while William Hussey will present a talk on Crime Thrillers plus book signing from 1pm-2pm.
The festival will conclude with an illustrated talk on how to write an historical thriller, plus book signing, with Jim Kelly (2.30pm-3.30pm).
