Héloïse Letissier, better known as the front woman of Christine and The Queens, first burst into our consciousness with the fantastic single ‘Tilted’.

With vocals laid over an incredibly catchy electronic beat, that single was well-played on UK radio, made it to number 20 in the charts, and also featured in a couple of TV series.

Her recent single ‘Girlfriend’, featuring American funk musician Dâm-Funk, was another catchy tune that I still can’t stop listening to.

Now she's back with a new single - ‘Doesn’t Matter’, described as ‘wrestling with a higher power in order to reach a driving and powerful incantation of soothing hope against mounting misery.’

"It’s a crisis song that I wrote late one night," explains Christine.

"This song is a cathedral, with a rhythm as unalterable as white stone.

"The bass line, I remember playing it for hours, as if to rock myself."

Her second album, the follow up to her debut record Chaleur Humaine, is titled ‘Chris’. It's out on September 21 in both English and French.

She also starts a full tour of Europe, Canada and the United States in the autumn.
