Polka Dot Pantomimes will perform Aladdin at Grantham’s Guildhall Arts Centre this Christmas period
A pantomime based on a classic story will be running in Grantham over the Christmas period.
Polka Dot Pantomimes will produce a performance of Aladdin at the Guildhall Arts Centre from Saturday December 2 to Sunday January 7.
Organisers say that tickets for Aladdin are already in “great demand” and advance bookings are “indicating that this show will break all previous box office records”.
There will be 61 performances running throughout the Christmas holidays, in what is billed to be a “wonderful experience for the whole family”.
Dame John Highton is returning for his ninth year playing Widow Twankey this year.
John will be joined by a cast full of pantomime experience, including Richard Kort as the Ruler of Far East Colsterworth, Hattie Johnson as Spirit Of the Ring, Serena Walsh as Princess Jasmine, Alan Mclaren as Abanazar and Michael McCredie as Wishee Washee.
Polka Dot Pantomimes have also announced award-winning entertainer Noah Kelly as the Genie of the Lamp.
