North Hykeham The Crystal Shop owner to host psychic mediumship evening in Lincoln to help Cats Protection in Sleaford

Needy cats in and around Sleaford are set to benefit from the proceeds of an evening of mediumship in Lincoln.

Psychic medium and holistic healer Dione Linnell, who also runs The Crystal Shop in North Hykeham, will share messages and the opportunity to connect with the audience's loved ones at an exclusive event on Thursday, February 1, at Ruston’s Sports and Social Club in Newark Road.

Dionne was a recent finalist of the Derek Acorah Memorial Award, which recognises excellence in the field of mediumship. Alongside mediumship she also practices tea leaf, tarot and angel card readings as well as reiki, aromatherapy and crystal healing.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Sleaford Branch of Cats Protection, which is run by a small group of volunteers who do their best to get unwanted cats into new homes. The branch rehomes cats who find themselves homeless, taking care of their every need before a new family can be found.

One such cat is Olivia, a grey-and-white five-year-old who came in to care after struggling to get on with other cats in the home. Volunteers are now searching for a home where she can live stress-free without other pets.

Community fundraising manager Rachel Hay said: “This will be a fun evening, with one of the best mediums around taking guests on a welcoming journey into the world of spiritualism. We have limited numbers to just 40 guests to ensure an inclusive experience and enable as many people as possible to engage with Dionne.

”The volunteers at the Sleaford branch are an amazing group of people who dedicate themselves to helping cats lead better lives. Their hard work relies on the support of local cat lovers, so it would be great to see lots of people at this event as we raise much-needed money.”
