Prince tribute New Purple Celebration, Alice In Wonderland and Rat Pack — Swingin’ At The Sands at New Theatre Royal, Lincoln
There is a celebration of the music, life and legacy of the musician Prince at the New Theatre Royal, Lincoln, on Friday (September 2).
Formerly known as Purple Rain: A Celebration Of Prince, New Purple Celebration have delivered their non-stop, high-energy show to venues worldwide since 2004.
Audiences can expect to see, hear and feel Prince’s iconic hits such as 1999, Little Red Corvette, Purple Rain, Kiss, Diamonds And Pearls, U Got The Look, When Doves Cry, Cream, I Wanna Be Your Lover and more.
Prince is performed by Jimi Love, backed by a full nine-piece band which includes a horn section, backing vocals, and two keyboard players.
Then it is off to Las Vegas on Saturday night (September 3) with Rat Pack — Swingin’ At The Sands.
Three singers recreate the comedy, rousing camaraderie, and impressive song catalogue of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
Featuring stars of the West End show The Rat Pack, Live From Las Vegas, this fully-choreographed show featured favourite hits such as Fly Me To The Moon, Mr Bojangles, That’s Amore, New York, New York and My Way.
On Sunday afternoon (September 4) youngsters are being invited to take a leap down the rabbit hole with The Adventures Of Alice in Wonderland.
The new, family fun adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic story is brought to life using puppets.
It is a beautiful new production that views Carroll’s story from a different angle.
