Reinforced Beds has been supplying heavy-duty bed frames and mattresses for the last decade

A Norfolk-based local business is changing the way that we buy beds and sleep.

Reinforced Beds in Walpole Cross Keys designs and manufactures heavy-duty bed frames which are comfortable and built to last.

As a result, customers get better value beds at the same time as helping to do their bit for the planet by cutting back on landfill waste. And they still getting their beds delivered quickly, when they want it.

.

Each bed is designed specifically by the company to ensure its strength. It also uses recycled materials in select mattresses, specifically its flagship model, the Brick Mattress.

Reinforced Beds’ mission is simple: to create strong, stylish beds that support people and the planet — without compromise.

By combining skillful craftsmanship, durability and sustainability, the company is shaking up the national furniture market.

The family-run company, which has just celebrated 10 years in business, was launched by Nicholas Forth in 2015, who spotted a gap in the market and decided to rent a shed, from where he sold the beds.

Today, the business occupies a site with 3000m2, where it manufactures its own heavy duty beds, and has recently grown to 11 employees.

Forth said: "Sustainability is at our core. Strong beds that last longer is part of Reinforced Beds DNA."

.

Among its leading products are the Heavy-Duty Divan Base, which has a double reinforced top with full reinforced sides and bottom, and the Brick mattress, which is extra/super firm for bariatric use and people with challenging behaviours.

The company delivers beds nationwide via express or next day delivery.

The company offices are open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.30pm.
