Film screenings this August at The New Theatre in Peterborough

If you fancy watching a film on the big screen, The New Theatre in Peterborough is currently running its Cinema 100 programme.

The theatre, in Broadway, closed for live shows at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic but has been able to reopen once more to show movies.

Throughout this month there are a host of films to see including on Friday (August 7) Rocketman, based on the life of Sir Elton John.

On Saturday, The Lego Movie 2 is being screened, as well as Dolittle.

Other screenings include Incredibles 2, Judy (based on the life of Judy Garland), 1917 and Book Club.

Social distancing measures will be in place at all screenings, as well as staggered arrival and seating times to ensure that this is maintained throughout each visit. All visitors are asked to adhere to a number of guidelines listed on the New Theatre’s website to ensure the safety of everyone. Anybody who has COVID-19 symptoms must not attend.
