Activities on offer for October half-term at Lincolnshire National Trust properties
A host of half-term activities are on offer at National Trust properties.
National Trust properties within Lincolnshire have several activities on offer for families across half-term from October 19, until November 3.
Belton estate, near Grantham, is offering 50 things to do before you turn 11 and three-quarters.
There is also a chance for little ones to create their own den using woodland materials in the outdoor adventure playground.
Other activities include a leaves spotters trail - giving children the opportunity to learn about trees - and also a Get Adventure Ready trail. Autumn crafts will also be taking place inside.
The Great Big Tree Climbing Company is also offering visitors the chance to ascend into the canopy of some of the estate’s largest trees using ropes and harnesses.
The tree climbing activities can be booked at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/belton on October 25, 26 and 27.
Gunby Hall, near Spilsby, is getting ready for Halloween with its Gunby and Dragons Trail.
Children are invited to dress up for the occasion and let their imaginations run wild across the spooky trail from October 19 until October 2.
On Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, the hall will be transformed for its Halloween Haunted Hall weekend. To find out more, go to www.nationaltrust.org.uk/gunbyhall.
