Nat King Cole story coming to the Guildhall Theatre in Grantham
The story of a legendary American jazz singer will be told at a Grantham venue.
The Nat King Cole Story will be held on Saturday (July 22) from 7.30pm at the Guildhall Theatre in St Peter’s Hill.
It will feature live music, narration and archive footage of the American singer.
The show is billed as a “unique concert celebrating one of the greatest vocalists and entertainers of the Twentieth Century: Nat ‘King’ Cole”.
Acclaimed vocalist, Atila, forms part of the show alongside a talented group of musicians.
The show is described as “thoughtful and entertaining”, while taking a “fresh look” at the life and work of the “timeless” musician.
Nat King Cole is known for his vocal styling in songs such as Nature Boy, Unforgettable and When I Fall in Love, which earned him a place in the history of American music as one of the most iconic vocalists of all time.
