Pinchbeck and Holbeach summer events to book into your calender
Don’t miss out on these lovely community events coming up later on this year.
Save the date in your diaries for the Pinchbeck Carnival, happening on Saturday, June 10.
It will be taking place on the Rotten Row playing field.
Planners are getting organised and prepared for the event that will take place in the summer.
There are lots of fun entertainment activities lined up for the festival already.
It includes music from ‘The Sound Injections’ and the ‘Rock School Bus’.
The carnival will have lots of fun children’s games too, such as inflatables and balloon modelling.
Enjoy the classic cars and tractors along with the multiple food outlets that will feature at the event.
Stalls will also be there for visitors to browse through, forms to apply for a stall will be released in April.
There will be a carnival caboray on Saturday, March 4, which includes judges deciding who will be this year’s carnival queen.
One of the planners for the event, Jane Amess said: “ We’re always excited when planning.”
She added: “I hope everyone comes along and enjoys it.”
The carnival is free to attend.
Another event to put in the calender is, Holbeach’s Medieval Festival.
It will be taking place on Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2.
The medieval festival will run from 10am through to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Event organiser Tracey Carter said: “It is bigger and better than last year.” “We have more stall holders this time as all the other traders had a good time.”
Visitors can expect the festival to bring living history encampment’s, sideshows, and even a historical kitchen to the town.
Take a leisurely stroll round the market and historical kitchen or watch the artillery display and falconry.
It will be centred in Carters Park, Holbeach.
