A Grantham school will host a Morning with Jacqueline Wilson, known for her Tracy Beaker books.

Dame Jacqueline will be talking about her latest book, Little Stars, at Priory Ruskin Academy on Saturday, October 24. The event is organised by Lincs Children’s Book Group and is open to children only, aged seven and over.

Children can hear Dame Jacqueline discussing her career and the world of Hetty Feather. They will discover how the character of Hetty came about and how she and Diamond came to find themselves as stars of a Victorian Music Hall.

There will be no book signings after the talk but there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Copies of ‘Little Stars’ can be purchased from the bookshop on the day.

Doors open at 11am and the event starts at 11.30am and will last about an hour.

Entry to the event is by ticket only. They cost £5 and are available from Priory Ruskin reception or send a cheque and stamped addressed envelope to Fina Martinez, Red House Farm, The Green, Allington NG32 2EA.
