Whaplode and West Pinchbeck events give chance to see fragile flowers

There’s no denying than getting amongst nature can be fantastic for our general wellbeing - especially when a particularly fragile beauty is blooming.

A number of walks have been organised over the coming weeks in Whaplode and West Pinchbeck where those joining in can take in the spectacular snowdrops.

The Snowdrop Walks at St Mary’s Church in Whaplode will be held on Saturday, February 12, Sunday, February 13, Saturday, February 19 and Sunday, February 20.

There are refreshments available inside the church between 10am and 3pm.

This is a chance to experience thousands of snowdrops in their natural secluded area and all are welcome.

For more information, you can visit the St Mary’s Facebook page where there are further detail on services and tours of the 900 year old church.

The Snowdrops in St Bartholomew’s Churchyard, West Pinchbeck, have also made a magnificent display in the last few years.

You can visit the church on Saturday and Sunday (February 12 and 13) when it is hoped that the gorgeous plants will be at their best.

The Church will be open for light refreshments between 1pm and 4pm each day.
