Spalding town is set to become a Wonderland scene




Spiral down a rabbit hole of fun this Febuary half- term.

Dont miss out on ‘Wonderland Week’ which will run from Saturday, Febuary 11 to Sunday, Febuary 19.

Put your mind to the test with a ‘Queen of Hearts Trail’.

It involves searching for letters in shop windows around the town to work out the Wonderland word.

Vist the Box Office at the South Holland Centre once you have worked it out for a surprise prize.

Meet the Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit on Saturday, Febuary 11 as they entertain visitors in the town.

There will also be free face painting and balloon modelling between 10am and 2pm.

Magic continues on Tuesday, Febuary 14 as the Queen of Hearts and Alice will be in town.

Get creative at the Wonderland themed craft workshops at the South Holland Centre, between 11am and 2pm.

These crafts include Mad March Hare Masks, card Teacups and Teapot decorating and more.

Enjoy the Wonderland activities on offer at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and Gardens on Saturday, Febuary 18.

This includes a visit from the popular interactive Fabuloso Organ and the Mad Professor.

A magical fairy door hunt will give children the opportunity to collect more prize’s.

Join Rhubard Theatre in a Wonderland experience of shrinking, Alice themed twister and croquet.

These games will conclude the Wonderland experience on Sunday, February 19 at the South Holland Centre.

All tickets for the ‘Wonderland of Games’ are priced at £2 each and can be purchased from the South Holland Centre website.

Councillor Gary Taylor said: “There is a great offering of activities to get involved with over half-term with ‘Wonderland Week’ it’s sure to be another great event for the town.”

“I encourage local residents to come along and take part, support our local market traders and retailers and enjoy some fun family-friendly activities.”
