Woman dies and five injured following collision on A16 between Kirton and Sutterton
A woman has died and five people have been left injured following a collision on the A16 this morning, police have confirmed.
A section of the road was shut this morning (Monday, March 4) after what police described as a ‘serious collision’, between Sutterton and Kirton.
“A woman has died and five injured following this collision at 6.50am this morning near Kirton,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers.
The vehicles involved are a blue Volkswagen Scirocco (travelling towards Boston) and a blue Vauxhall Zafira (travelling towards Spalding).
“We are appealing for information and dashcam footage that may have captured the collision or the vehicles prior to the collision,” the statement added.
