The best beer gardens to visit in Lincolnshire while the sun shines





With the sun finally making an appearance, it’s that time of year where you can enjoy a drink outside while attempting to get a suntan under the British sun.

The Lord Harrowby, Grantham

A family-friendly atmosphere and award-winning Camra pub, The Lord Harrowby offers a spacious beer garden with plenty of shelter for those who may want some shade. Inside, there is a traditional bar with a Victorian style, offering a snug feeling.

There is also a great selection of real ale and cider for customers.

The Blue Pig, Grantham

Located in the historic quarter of Grantham, The Blue Pig is praised for its ‘hidden’ beer garden, offering customers a quiet place to enjoy a cold drink in the simmering sun.

This pub has been visited by the Lincs Online Secret Drinker, who considered the beer garden as ‘enormous’, with a ‘cracking’ outside bar and large kids play area, making it a great destination for families.

The Chequers of Weston, Weston

The pub is comfortable, but also spacious as it can fit 100 diners indoors and 120 outdoors. Its large beer garden is the perfect location for events to be held with its marquee.
