B&M to open in former Wilko in Westgate Street, Oakham

A lease has been signed for a discount retailer to move into a former Wilko shop.

B&M will be moving into Westgate Street, Oakham with an expected mid-summer opening date, a spokesperson for the company has confirmed.

It will occupy the former Wilko shop, which closed in autumn last year when the firm went into administration.

The former Wilko in Stamford High Street remains up for sale and plans have been submitted to split the building into two separate shops to attract new businesses to the town.
