Spalding Grammar School 2024: Outgoing headteacher celebrates individual successes
Hard work has paid off for Spalding Grammar School pupils who have picked up their GCSE results.
Pupils enjoyed tucking into a celebratory ice-cream at the Priory Road site after being notified of their results.
Outgoing headmaster Steven Wilkinson, who is leaving the school to take up a new challenge outside the county following a ’good’ Ofsted report, has congratulated students.
He said: “My last results day is about celebrating individual success, and reflecting on what students at Spalding Grammar School are able to achieve.
“I am happy to be bowing out on what is pleasing set of grades for many students across many subjects.
“Our top performer was Harry McDougall, who achieved at least a grade 8 across all 11 of his subjects.

Rupert was planning to celebrate his results with a family meal later.
