Inquest into death of Przemyslaw Gebka, whose body was found in dyke in Spalding has not been opened




The inquest into the death of a man whose body was found in a dyke has not yet been opened, police have confirmed.

Przemyslaw Gebka, 42, was found in Fulney Lane South, on the outskirts of Spalding, on Saturday morning by a member of the public.

Mr Gebka was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday by ambulance staff but has not been seen since October 28.

Police are looking into the circumstances of Mr Gebka’s death and say their inquiries are ‘ongoing’.

Officers have not yet made public any circumstances surrounding his death.

Police cars had sealed off Fulney Lane South, between Rangell Gate and Kellett Gate, on Saturday while the investigation took place.

Forensic officers were seen photographing and picking up items in plastic bags from the dyke verge, which was close to the allotments and a public footpath.
