Man pleads guilty to burglary at Sense in Spalding
A man has pleaded guilty to burglary after stealing donations and breaking into a charity shop.
Thomas Parr, 27, of The Meadows in Spalding, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday, May 1).
He pleaded guilty to entering Sense charity shop in Station Street, as a trespasser and stealing a quantity of cash, an iPad to the value of £300, a safe, keys and food and drink to an unknown value.
He has been bailed to appear at Lincoln Crown Court for sentencing at a later date.
The charity shop in Spalding, previously said it was 'devastated' by the ‘heartless’ break-in which happened last month.
Sense was forced to close the store on one of it’s busiest trading days of the week due to the damage caused – which staff members said was a ‘significant’ set back.
