McDonald’s Spalding branch to shut for work

A busy McDonald’s branch is set to shut for a revamp.

The fast food chain’s outlet off the A151 Holbeach Road on the edge of Spalding has announced that it will close tomorrow (Thursday October 17).

McDonald’s was recently given planning permission for a series of changes to the 24-hour store — which is close to the long-running roadwork project on the nearby A16 roundabout.

The works include a new entrance way and a tweak to the drive-thru booths.

The car park spaces will be altered — with new signage and bollards, fresh white lines and new click and serve bays.

The firm has not said how long the work will take.
