Lincolnshire County Council election results for South Holland as Reform UK wins all bar one seat

Just one Conservative councillor remains in South Holland's Lincolnshire County Council divisions following a sweeping victory by Reform UK.

Coun Gary Taylor, who represents Spalding South, is now the only Tory remaining after Nigel Farage’s party won eight of the district’s nine seats in the May 1 elections.

Four former independents — Jane King, Rob Gibson, Manzur Hasan and Thomas Sneath — joined Reform UK in March and have all successfully retained their seats under the party’s banner.

Among the defeated Conservatives were Jack Tyrrell, who previously served as South Holland District Council’s portfolio holder for environmental services before stepping down earlier this year, and Elizabeth Sneath, who remains SHDC’s portfolio holder for health and wellbeing, conservation and heritage.

The district also showed strong backing for Andrea Jenkyns, the former Conservative MP who won the Greater Lincolnshire mayoral race for Reform UK.
