New Look confirms Spalding store is closing

A clothing retailer has confirmed it is shutting its Spalding branch in early June.

New Look has been a part of the Market Place for many years but the store will be shutting its doors for the final time on Monday, June 9.

The store is the latest fashion shop announce it is leaving the town centre with Robert Goddard reporting its plans to close earlier this year.

Dorothy Perkins left the town centre in 2021 while Coneys department store, which was previously Hills, shut in 2023.

A New Look spokesperson said: “Our store in Spalding is set close on June 9. We would like to thank all of our colleagues and the local community for their support over the years.

“We hope customers continue to shop with us online at newlook.com, where our full product ranges can be found.”
