Spalding store wants man banned from premises to take job there - but press excluded from hearing full facts
The hearing into whether a man banned from a town store will be allowed to work there is taking place this morning - but the full facts will remain behind closed doors.
LincsOnline was excluded from parts of the hearing today on the grounds that personal information involving one of the parties was to be discussed.
Haiman Fatah Mohamad is not allowed to attend or have any part in the running of the Deli Super Market in Spalding’s Sheep Market, which was formerly the Hughes electrical business.
However, the business has requested South Holland District Council’s licensing committee change the wording of the premises licence to read: "Mr Haiman Fatah Mohamad will be excluded from any involvement in the ownership and/or management of the company or the premises but he is permitted to be employed on the premises under supervision."
The reasons given by the applicant says: “Mr Haiman Fatah Mohamad has fallen out of work and is known by the owners who wish to employ him to work on the premises under supervision.
“Mr Mohamad will not be left unattended at the premises or have any involvement in the management or the running of the premises.”
The licensing panel excluded the press minutes into this morning’s meeting.
