Organiser of Spalding Flower Parade gives residents and visitors road closure information ahead of major event

Visitors are being advised to plan ahead — with details of roads closures and parking restrictions for the Flower Parade now released.

Organiser of Saturday May 11’s Spalding Flower Parade, Stephen Timewell, is giving advanced warning on how the route will affect access into the town — with tens of thousands of visitors predicted to come to the town for the event.

The event starts and finishes at the Castle Sports Ground on Pinchbeck Road as the parade of floats, trailers and community groups will make a 2.9 mile circuit around the town.
