Spalding United, Stamford AFC and Bourne Town are all in midweek action
Spalding United start a run of three crucial home clashes when they return to Southern League action tonight (Tuesday).
The Tulips host Stourbridge in a Premier Division Central match at the Sir Halley Stewart ground (7.45pm kick-off).
It is the opening match for Spalding in the run of three successive home games against sides around them in the league table.
Spalding are in 10th spot, five points adrift of the play-off places, after their match at Bishop's Stortford was postponed on Saturday.
They entertain a Stourbridge team this evening who are one point and one place behind Spalding in the standings after a slump in form following a promising start to the season.
While Jimmy Dean’s side are unbeaten in their last eight league games, the Glassboys have just one win to their name over a similar sequence.
Spalding then host third-placed Stratford Town on Saturday before welcoming in-form Royston to the Sir Halley Stewart the following weekend.
The Tulips will be without midfielder Lewis Hilliard who has left the club in search of more game-time.
Stamford dropped out of the play-off places at the weekend after their home match with Redditch United also fell victim to the weather.
However, the Daniels can move back into the top five with a positive points return from their trip to old adversaries Halesowen Town tonight (Tuesday).
Graham Drury's side pipped the Yeltz to promotion to step three two seasons ago and there has been little to separate the sides since then.
They are both locked together on the same amount of points from the same number of games with Halesowen holding a coveted play-off spot from Stamford on goal difference.
After bringing Cosmos Matwasa back to the club on loan, Stamford have further strengthened by signing Kai Tonge from league rivals Harborough Town.
The attacker has featured against Stamford a number of times in recent seasons and manager Drury has been a long-term admirer of the 27-year-old who is delighted to be with the Daniels.
Tonge said: "It feels great to join Stamford.
"Graham has wanted me for three seasons now and finally it is the right time to join, especially when the club is fighting for promotion.
"It is very exciting and, over all the clubs that came in for me, I felt this is the right move for me, especially as I know a few of the lads, and hopefully I can help the team achieve success."
Bourne return to United Counties League action tonight (Tuesday) with a home game against Sleaford Town after their club history-making FA Vase exploits at the weekend.
The Wakes reached the last 16 of the national competition for the first time in their history after a 4-2 away win at Birmingham-based Sutton United.
They are now targeting a quick-fire Premier Division North double over Sleaford following their 4-0 away win last month.
Bourne are currently four points off top spot with three games in hand and manager Michael Goode wants his side to have their full focus on league duties after the weekend win.
He said: "I told the lads to enjoy the day, watch all the videos back and celebrate but we then need to get our heads back on ready for the Sleaford game.
"We certainly won't be taking them lightly because the conditions will be horrible and you never know what might happen.
"Hopefully the rustiness of not playing since Boxing Day will be gone and it's another game to get under our belts before the weekend.
"We did alright on Saturday without anyone really standing out. Other than it being the FA Vase, it also served a purpose of getting us up and running again. Hopefully we can carry it on in Tuesday's game."
Bourne also have a home match on Saturday as they host fourth-placed Newark Town at the JJ Mac Stadium.
