LincsOnline team join in with Christmas Jumper Day
The team behind your new LincsOnline website have dusted off their festive knitwear for Christmas Jumper Day today – and we want to see your efforts!
Lots of Lincolnshire’s workplaces, schools and community groups are expected to take part in the annual event including the LincsOnline team, which is powered by the Stamford Mercury, Lincolnshire Free Press, Grantham Journal and Spalding Guardian.

Help us settle an office debate. Does Andrew’s elf jumper top Duncan’s Home Alone inspired knitwear? Do Bridie’s antlers knock Jenny’s festive hat right off her head? Or does Katie’s Stich, of Disney’s Lilo and Stitch fame, take top spot? Maybe you think someone else had it all knitted up. Have your say on who wore it best below.
If you think you can do better than our efforts, send in your photos to: news@lincsonline.co.uk. We’ll share some of the best – and dodgiest – jumpers with our readers.
Christmas Jumper Day is not just a bit of fun though. The annual event is organised by Save the Children, a charity that helps kids facing issues such as war, illness, hunger and poverty.
Last year, participants raised £5 million, with more than 2 million school children and 24,000 workplaces taking part.
Those who sign up are asked to donate £2 and can also encourage others to donate towards the cause.
Donate your money on JustGiving any time, or via the Save the Children website.
