Rutland and Stamford MP candidates for 2024 General Election to face questions at hustings in Oakham




Voters have the chance to question the election candidates for Rutland and Stamford at a hustings event.

Four of the six candidates have so far accepted an invitation to address the public in Oakham next week.

The hustings will take place at All Saints’ Church in Church Street on Tuesday, June 25 from 6.30pm.

Questions for the candidates can be submitted by email to office@oakhamteam.org.uk by Monday (June 24).

The candidates standing in the Rutland and Stamford constituency are Alicia Kearns (Conservative), Joe Wood (Labour), James Moore (Liberal Democrats), Emma Baker (Green), Chris Clowes (Reform UK) and Joanna Burrows (Rejoin EU).

A second hustings is taking place at St George’s Church in Stamford on Thursday, June 27 at 7pm when the Rev Martyn Taylor will host the debate.
