Lincolnshire Police charge Brian Simpson, 64, of Nene Court with murder of Spalding woman Kristine Sparane
Police have charged a man with the murder of a woman whose body was found earlier this week at a town property.
Lincolnshire Police have confirmed they have charged Brian Simpson, 64, of Nene Court with the murder of Kristine Sparane, 37.
Her body was discovered by officers after they forced their way into a property in Winsover Road, Spalding, on Tuesday night (November 26).
Officers entered the property shortly after 7.30pm following concerns about a woman’s safety.
The 64-year-old man was arrested and will now appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 3.
This is the second incident (incident 332 of 26 November) in a month that has led to an arrest for murder — after 45-year-old old Vadims Zmicerevskis died near the junction of Green Lane and St Thomas’ Road on November 11.
The investigation into Kristine Sparane’s death remains ongoing and the police are continuing to appeal for information.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by supermarket staff who served Kristine and her five-year-old daughter Mary on a daily basis.
